About Texas Quality Products
Texas Quality Products was founded in 1989 and originally operated along the Houston Ship Channel, where barges delivered dredged oyster shell from Galveston Bay. The company crushed and processed the oyster shell for use as a calcium-rich additive in chicken feed, helping produce stronger eggshells.
In the early 2000s, once dredging in the bay was completed, Texas Quality Products adapted its operation to continue using its specialized processing equipment. The company relocated to Eagle Lake, Texas, where it expanded into drying, sterilizing, screening, and processing high-quality industrial sand and gravel.
Always a family-run business, Texas Quality Products is proudly operated today by its second and third generations, continuing a tradition of quality, adaptability, and reliability.
